Getting Started
All our programs begin with a foundational training, the Intensive Coach Training program (ICT), which teaches you all the Results models, tools, and structure for running a 12 session coaching engagement. You can build the rest of your training based on your specific goals, needs, and interests.
Our ICT is available in 2 formats:
Face to face
The most popular starts with 3 days of face-to-face training followed by 12 weekly teleconferences, you’ll complete your coursework within 3 months and already be coaching. We encourage you to start working with a client, wether paid or pro-bono, by week 5 of the course.
Distance learning
The other format option is our Distance Learning version, consisting of 24 telecalls that run over a 5-month period. Our courses have a maximum of 24 students on a telecall with a student trainer ratio of 8:1.
The ICT is a highly experiential course. Your training team will present the models and structure, follow that with what we like to call a ‘real-play’s’, coaching live for you to experience the models in action. Then you’ll have an opportunity to further embed your learning by practicing the skills with fellow students and receive valuable feedback to support your growth and development as a coach.
After class each week you’ll be partnered with fellow students for homework practice, where you get to coach and experience being coached; a valuable part of your learning experience. You will also have reading assignments as homework. The course comes with a 600 page manual, designed to be a useful reference tool for you, and a copy of Quiet Leadership, Dr David Rock's book that outlines the brain based approach to coaching and leadership with our core models. We also provide you with a list of other suggested reading to support your learning.
